Hamilton YWCA Hostel 
Our Hostel accommodates women and men as permanent residents or backpackers. It is situated within easy walking distance of:
- The Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec)
- Waikato Hospital and Braemar private surgical hospital
- Waikato Rugby Stadium, Seddon Cricket Park and V8 Supercar circuit
- Hamilton Central City - Shopping, Movies, Hood and Victoria St Restaurants & Bars, supermarkets, tennis courts and gymnasiums
- Lake Rotoroa (Hamilton Lake Verandah Conference Centre), Waikato River and Hamilton Gardens
- Founders Theatre, Clarence Street and The Meteor Theatres

Facilities
Our hostel facilities include:
- A shared kitchen located on each floor equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, jug and toaster
- Each floor has a lounge with a television and DVD.
- Bathrooms on each floor have shared unisex toilets and showers
- Internet $2 per session
- Coin operated laundry facilities
- Free Ironing space and outdoor clothes drying lines
- Free off-street car parking
Please note:
The YWCA is located in a quiet, semi-residential area.
Alcohol is not permitted in any hostel public areas or the YWCA grounds.
The hostel is a smokefree environment.

Residents are required to provide their own:
Food
Cooking/eating utensils - pots, pans, plates, cups
Blankets, linen, pillows and towels
Linen and utensils may also be hired for $10 per month.
